M. Jordan, 516 East Main street, where he had made his home. He had been ailing, but nothing serious and went to bed in his usual health. Mr. Fifer not arising at his usual time, Mrs. Jordan became alarmed and went to his room and noticing no movement, went to his bed and found him dead. Mr. Fifer was a carpenter by trade and had been a resident of Medford for nine years. He leaves one sister and three brothers - Mrs. Jennie Foley- McCrawford, Virginia; B. F. Fifer, Astoria, Ore.; Geo. W. Fifer, San Diego, Cal.; Turner A. Fifer, Medford, Ore. Burial in the I.O.O.F. cemetery, Tuesday at 11 a.m.
