A Sad Death.

Mrs. Nellie Faber, wife of Prof. Faber, late of Ashland and only child of
J. L. Downing of Ashland, died suddenly at her home in Tulare, Calif., on
the 17th inst.

The body was sent up to Ashland and the funeral took place there yesterday
at 11 a.m., a large number of friends and relatives being present. The
deceased had a large circle of friends in this valley. She was an
accomplished musician and an estimable lady in every respect.
