He was born at Lake Creek Feb 12, 1896, and had lived his entire life in this community. On June 28, 1937, he was united in marriage to Elva Adams, of Central Point, who survives. He farmed for many years at Lake Creek, and for the past five years had been employed by the Rogue River Timber company at Prospect. He was a veteran of World War I and lost his son, Donald, in WWII. Surviving, besides his wife, are four brothers and three sisters, August, Charles, and Mrs. Thomas Campbell, Lake Creek; Fritz and Mrs Louisa Beltz, Medford; Mrs. Rudolph Bischoff, Murphy; and William Edler, Klamath Falls. Service will be held in the Conger-Morris Chapel at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday with the Reverend Delbert Daniels officiating. Interment will be in Cental Point cemetery.
