Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Friday, 20 February 1925 
Nettie Violet Dunlap of Trail, died at the Sacred Heart hospital, February 19, 
aged 44 years, 4 days. She was a native daughter of Jackson county, born near 
Flounce Rock. She was married to Ira Dunlap at Medford, Ore., August, 1898, 
and to this union was born two sons and one daughter: Ralph Lloyd, Charles 
Albert and Edith Merritt Dunlap. The deceased, in addition to her husband, is 
also survived by four brothers and four sisters: G. A. Whelpley, Ashland, 
Ore.; Edward A. Whelpley, Los Angeles, Cal.; Fred Whelpley Steinman, Ore.; 
Robert H. Whelpley, Prescott, Wash.; Mrs. Rose Heffner, Medford, Ore.; Mrs. 
Mattie Reynolds, Eugene, Ore.; Mrs. Mable Hylane, Portland, Ore.; and Mrs. D. 
Jackson, Springfield, Ore. Mrs. Dunlap was a member of the Baptist church at 
Ashland. 
Funeral services will be held at the Four Square Gospel Hall at Trail, Ore., 
Monday, 2 p. m., Rev. Stille officiating. Interment in Trail cemetery.
