He had spent his entire lifetime in Jackson county. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic church. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Mary Woodson, and one brother, Charles Duggan, both of Sam's Valley. Funeral services will be conducted from Sacred Heart Catholic church Monday at 10 a.m., Rev. Father Francis W. Black officiating. Interment will take place in Jacksonville cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at the Perl Funeral Home this Sunday evening at 8 o'clock. - separate article - Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Sunday, 8 Apr 1944, p. 10 DENNIS P. DUGGAN RITES ON MONDAY Funeral services, in charge of Perl's, will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic church at 10 a.m. Monday for Dennis Peter Duggan, 62, of Sam's Valley, who died at his home early Saturday morning. The Rev. Francis Black will officiate and interment will be in Jacksonville cemetery. Mr. Duggan, a native of Oregon, had lived most of his life in Sam's Valley and was well-known and beloved by his neighbors and friends. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Duggan, pioneers of the valley. Survivors are his brother, J. Charles Duggan, and his sister, Mary Woodson, both living at Sam's Valley.
