DeLin Stricken Saturday At Her Home. Funeral Service Probably Monday--Death Shock to Wide Circle of Friends. Mrs. Mayme L. DeLin, a widely known and highly beloved woman of this city died at her home, 1112 East Main street Saturday morning, October 8, 1921. The news came as a shock to scores of friends, many of whom did not know of her illness. Her death was sudden. She had been ill for the past three weeks, but her condition was not regarded as serious. She was in fair health Saturday morning, and had entered her bathroom when she was seized with an attack resulting in her death a few minutes later. The funeral will probably be Monday, dependent upon the arrival of a niece, Miss Helen Reddy, who is in Los Angeles, Calif. Mrs. DeLin was born at Cleveland, Ohio, April 10th, 1878, and when 14 years of age located with relatives in Spokane, Wash. She was graduated later from St. Mary's academy, Spokane, and was married to Chas. M. Delin [sic], Sept. 5th, 1905. Mr. and Mrs. Delin located in Medford in 1909, residing here ever since. She leaves her husband, C. M. Delin, two brothers, Dr. J. F. Reddy and Owney Reddy, and two nieces, Mrs. James Murray and Miss Helen Reddy, both of Medford, the latter being in Los Angeles.
