DE FORD IS TAKEN BY DEATH Funeral services were held November 9 in Klamath Falls for Mrs. Emma Dora DeFord, 67, with interment in Linkville cemetery, according to word received in Medford today. Mrs. DeFord passed away at te home of her daughter, Fay Tresham, in Chiloquin, November 6. Mrs. DeFord was born in Colfax, Wash., and was a lifelong member of the Methodist church. Always eager to lend a helping hand, she was beloved by her family and all who knew her. Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn seven children, Rose Vaughn and Fay Tresham of Chiloquin, Lydia Carlson, Portland; Curna Wakefield, Petaluma, Cal.; Bryon and Murrel DeFord, Seattle, and Ted DeFord, Lakeview; also two sisters and two brothers, eleven grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. Mrs. DeFord lived for many years in Central Point, Sam's Valley and in the Valleyview district of Ashland.
