Day, youngest daughter of Judge and Mrs. S. J. Day, died at the family residence in Jacksonville on January 15th and was buried on Saturday, the 17th. Miss Day was born in Jacksonville in 1880, and at the time of her death was twenty-two years, four months and two days of age. The immediate cause of her decease was consumption, contracted while attending the State Agricultural College at Corvallis two years ago. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. M. L. Darby, of Medford, and the interment was made under the auspices of Jane McCully Cabin, N. D. O., of which she was a member.
