Dawson, a resident of the Trail District for the past 39 years, passed away there at the family home Friday evening at 9:15 after a short illness. Mrs. Dawson was born at Burns, Oregon, on June 25, 1890, and was 49 years of age. She has spent practically her whole life in Oregon, and was united in marriage to Robert R. Dawson at Jacksonville, Oregon on November 16, 1909. They moved immediately to Trail, living there continuously since that time. She was always active in the affairs of the community in which she lived, and leaves a host of friends to mourn her passing. She is survived by her husband, Robert R. Dawson, one son, Carl Dawson, her mother, Mrs. Mary Warner, three sisters, Mrs. Callie Fry, Mrs. Hazel Cushman, Mrs. Katie Ash, three brothers, Fred J., Ray, and John Warner, two grandchildren, Shirley Jean and Nadine Dawson, all of Trail, Oregon. Funeral services will be conducted from the Perl funeral home Monday morning at 10:30. Rev. C. W. Frost of the Apostolic faith will have charge of the services, and interment will be in the Trail cemetery.
