Mr. Davis was born at Alden, Minn., May 12, 1875. He was a son of one of the oldest pioneer families of the Rogue River valley, and spent quite a bit of his time visiting here in the valley, after moving to Weed [Calif.] in 1914. Besides his wife, Mrs. Rose N. Davis, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Effie Halley and Mrs. Grace Hosler, and one brother, Scott V. Davis, all of Medford. Funeral services will be conducted from the Perl Funeral Home Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Meredith A. Groves, pastor of the First Methodist church officiating. Interment will be in Siskiyou Memorial Park.
