She was fifty-seven years of age. Mrs. Davis was born at Lincoln, Logan county, Ill. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Bryan, came to Oregon in 1872, settling at Myrtle Creek. In 1876 her people moved to Williams, where she lived until her marriage to Grant Davis of Gazelle, California. In 1888, Mr. and Mrs. Davis lived at Gazelle, until 1905, when they moved to Ashland. Mrs. Davis was a consistent Christian, and a faithful member of the Methodist church for many years. She is survived by her husband, three sons, one daughter, six grandchildren, two brothers and five sisters. The funeral services are to be held at the Methodist church, this afternoon at 2 o'clock.
