C. Culy, died at about 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon at her home on Mountain avenue, Ashland, after an illness lasting four and a half weeks. Last week her condition became so serious that her children were summoned and all were at her bedside when the end came. Mrs. Culy was 59 years of age and was a native of Nebraska, but had lived in Ashland for the past 10 years. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Dodge undertaking parlors and were conducted by the Christian Science reader. Interment took place in the Mountain View cemetery. The deceased is survived by her husband, G. C. Culy, five sons and three daughters. These are G. A. Culy, C. W. Culy, N. C. Culy, A. B. Culy, F. O. Culy, Mrs. Fred Owen, Misses Nellie and Mildred Culy. She is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. Loosley, Mrs. Drake, Mrs. Knighten and Mrs. Ball, and three brothers, Willis, R. B. and Nicholas Vaughn.
