Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Thursday, 16 May 1935, p. 3, c. 1 
Word was received here today of the death in Grants Pass of Mrs. Lida Beagle 
Costain, a former resident of Medford, who passed away at a Grants Pass 
hospital at 11 a. m. Tuesday. Funeral services are to be conducted at Grants 
Pass Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, and interment will be in the Jacksonville 
Cemetery. Mrs. Costain last lived in Medford a year ago and had spent many 
years here and at Grants Pass. She acquired many friends who were deeply 
grieved to learn of her death. She is survived by three daughters and one son: 
Mrs. Kenneth Cerr of Klamath Falls, Mrs. Gladys Robertson of Portland, Mrs. 
Grace Clothier of Wenatchee, Wash., and T. W. Beagle of Seattle.
