W. Cornish, an old and highly respected citizen, died at the family home near town last Friday morning after a long and severe illness with disease of the stomach. The funeral services were held at the tabernacle, on the M. E. camp grounds, and the interment was at the cemetery near town Saturday. Mr. Cornish was a worthy member of the M. E. Church, an energetic, honorable citizen, a kind and loving husband and father and a true friend to all. He leaves a wife and two granddaughters to mourn his irreparable loss, who have the sympathy of a host of friends in this their hour of affliction.
