Cordiner died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O. T. Whitman at 720 West Eleventh street early Sunday morning after a lingering illness. She was born at Margree Harbor, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, November 7, 1860, and married Peter C. Cordiner, now deceased, at Newport, Rhode Island, August 16, 1887. She was resided in Astoria from 1890 to 1927 and for the past four years in Medford. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. O. T. Whitman and three sons, Charles F., Portland, Ore.; Peter C., Honolulu; Sidney L., Enterprise, Ore., and four grandchildren, Doroth[y] E. and Jean C. Whitman, Medford; Sidney L. and Robert Cordiner, Enterprise, Ore. Mrs. Cordiner was a member of the United Artisans of Astoria, Ore. The remains will be forwarded to Portland, Monday evening for cremation. Perl Funeral home in charge of the arrangements.
