Tuesday, December 18, at his home, 1005 West Main street, after a long illness from sclerosis of the liver. He was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., and had been a resident of Medford for the last ten years, having come here from Fresno, Calif., where he had been in the fruit business for 14 years. He is survived by his wife and a number of brothers and sisters living in various parts of the country. Mr. Coleman had accumulated considerable property in Medford and always had great confidence in the city and the valley right up to the time of his death. The funeral service will be private and will be held under the auspices of the I. O. O. F. lodge. The burial will be at Denver, Colo., Mrs. Coleman’s former home and in which lace they were married. Mrs. Coleman will accompany the body to Denver and will later return to continue her residence here. For about five months prior to the time that he became ill, Mr. Coleman was employed on the Pacific & Eastern railroad as an engineer.
