CLELAND CALLED BY DEATH Maud Mae Cleland, 59, passed away at her home, 35 Cottage street, early Monday morning, after a lingering illness. She was born at Chessning, Mich., January 12, 1881. Maud Mae Kinney, was married to James E. Cleland, September 2, 1901, at Cheboygan, Mich., and resided in Michigan four years. The family has resided at Medford for the past 20 years. She leaves her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Helen V. VanDusen, Medford, and Mrs. Alice Mae Daily, Klamath Falls, Ore.; two grandchildren, George T. Barnum and Bettie Lea Daily. Mrs. Cleland was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America. Funeral services will be held at the Perl Funeral home, Wednesday at 2 p.., with the Rev. Sherman L. Divine of the First Presbyterian church officiating. Interment in Medford I.O.O.F. cemetery.
