She leaves a sorrowing husband, three daughters, one son, a father, one brother and sister to mourn her loss. She was born in London, England, Aug. 25, 1868. When two years old her parents removed to Oregon. Her mother died while the family were en route to America. She was sick about one week with pneumonia, and all was done to alleviate her suffering, but to no avail. Rev. E. B. Lockhart conducted the funeral services. The remains were laid to rest, beside her first husband, James Gaines, in the Medford cemetery. The bereft family have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.
