Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Sunday, 26 Mar 1944, p. 10 CASEBEER RITES SET FOR MONDAY Wallace H. Casebeer of Rt. 1, Central Point, Ore., passed away suddenly at a local hospital Thursday, March 23, He was born in Union, Ore., on Dec. 30, 1882, and resided in Idaho during his earlier years. He was united in marriage to Miss Elsie Butler at Boise, Ida., in 1905, and to this union there were born three children. He is survived by his wife, Elsie; his daughter, Mrs. Letha Ross of Medford; his son Ray, at the present time with the U. S. army, stationed at Camp Roberts, Calif., and a grand-daughter, Donna Lee Ross of Medford. (A daughter, Mrs. Nola Grim, passed away in 1928.) Mr. Casebeer was a resident of southern Oregon for many years, having lived in Klamath Falls and Medford, and recently near Central Point. He was a man of fine character, loved and respected by a wide acquaintance. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias, B.P.O. Elks, I.O.O.F., Eagles lodge and W.O.W. Funeral services will be conducted from the Perl Funeral Home on Monday afternoon at 3:30 p.m., with the Rev. Ward Rice officiating. The Knights of Pythias will act as pallbearers and conduct the memorial services at the Medford Mausoleum, where entombment will take place.
