The funeral date has not been set. He had been ill for two weeks with a cold and went to the hospital last week. For a number of years he was associated in business with Howard Boise. Mrs. Carter, who preceded her husband in death, was a sister of Mr. Boise. Carter was a resident of this city for about 20 years and came here from Arizona. He was born in Texas.
