The deceased was ill but 14 days of that dreaded malady, spinal meningitis, but in spite of all the tender care and nursing that relatives and neighbors could give, death came and took from a happy home a dutiful son, a beloved brother and an esteemed friend. When the final summons comes to one thus early in life and when the one upon whom the dark terror has laid his withered touch is a friend, the grief, the poignant regret one feels is too deep to be expressed. But the manly qualities displayed in the everyday life of Andrew Cantrall will live long in the memories of those who knew him best.
