CALDWELL SUCCUMBS IN S. F. Sam A. Caldwell who will be remembered by Medford and Jackson County pioneers, died Sept. 28 in San Francisco, age 66 years. He leaves to mourn, his wife, Sadie Caldwell, two brothers, Frank L. Caldwell, of San Bernardino, Calif., Charles A. Caldwell of Spokane, Wash., two sisters, Mrs. Artie Doren, of Medford and Mrs. Emma King of Emmett, Idaho. Mrs. King has been in Medford for two months caring for her daughter who recently returned from the hospital. She leaves for San Francisco tomorrow to attend her brother's funeral.
