Winningham, present. Three of the five living children of the pioneer parents' family of 14 attended the reunion. They were Calvin Winningham of Yreka, James Benton Winningham of Ruch and Mrs. Harry Whitney of Jacksonville. The two unable to be here were Mrs. E. M. Russell, 521 Berrydale avenue, Medford, and Mrs. Minnie Baker of Vancouver, B.C. Others present for the dinner were Mrs. James Benton Winningham and daughter, Dorothy, and Miss Eugena Merritt, Ruch; Harry Whitney, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Whitney and children, Martha and Clinton, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence and son, Jimmy, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Young and daughter, Susan, all of Jacksonville; Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Winningham, Forest Creek; Mr. and Mrs. W. I. Winningham and son, David, Grant's Pass; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dawson, Trail; and Mr. and Mrs. Chester McDonough, Sunnyside. James B. Winningham passed away in 1898. His wife was Mary Jane Hatton, third white child born in Oregon territory. She died in 1910.
