BOY DIES IN FRANCE Mrs. Martha Spooner received a telegram from the government yesterday of the death of her son, Artimus Spooner on Dec. 8, from valvular pneumonia. It was a severe shock to her as she had received a letter from him written Nov. 29, that he might not write again before he left France for home. He was in Battery E of the 65th artillery and was one of our seventh company boys. His sister, Mrs. W. W. Ussher is expected to arrive from Seattle tomorrow.
