Grieve, who was 86 years old January 1st last and since then has proudly proclaimed he is in his 87th year. However he is showing signs of growing old, as the other day after having sat up until three a.m. finishing reading the big New Year's edition of the Mail Tribune, he arose at 6 a.m., put the customary chew of tobacco where it belonged, ran down a chipmunk for fun, and then aiming at a knot hole in a log eight feet away, missed it by an eighth of an inch, whereas prior to that time in the last 75 years he had always hit whatever he aimed it 12 feet away square on the mark.
