They have capacity crowds most of the time, are crowded nearly every Saturday night and often turn people away. Despite the crowds Mr. and Mrs. James Grieve continue to give their usual up-to-date service and will double their capacity next year besides building a large wigwam with fire place and other conveniences for their guests evenings and mornings. A specially large number of Medford people were there Saturday night and Sunday. They served 8 breakfast[s] Sunday morning, 96 for lunch and 64 for dinner. The Medford people were Mr. and Mrs. John Orth, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Walther and friend Miss Eschen of San Francisco, Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Daniels and friends, Mr. and Mrs. M. Smith of Portland, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ray, Mr. and Mrs. Merl Garnett, Mrs. Clark, Mrs. James Stewart, J. W. Herrian, Pat Dailey, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Palm, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Wakefield family and brother, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Norcross, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hibbard and children, Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Haskins, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Stone, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Porter and family, Vernon Vawter, Mrs. W. I. Vawter, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Thierolf, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Anderson and guests, Mr. and Mrs. Merl Evans of Portland, Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Terrill and S. Sumpter Smith. Mrs. Wm. Warner and children have the Aikin property leased and are there for the summer. Mr. Warner goes up Saturday afternoons and stays until Monday. Judge Colvig is spending a few days there and called attention to the fact that 52 years ago last Saturday he and his wife spent their honeymoon at Duskins mill, which was located just across the road from the present Prospect hotel. This was before Prospect was named.
