B. Edington, about 50, Medford resident, was killed Wednesday while working in the Ingham Lumber company's logging woods near Glendale, southern Douglas county, Coroner H. C. Stearns reported today. The accident was not witnessed, the coroner stated. Edington's body was found late Wednesday evening, pinned under a log which apparently had rolled from a stock pile. Edington, who had been employed by Ingham company for about three months, is survived by his widow, living at Medford. T. B. Edington was a long-time resident of Jackson county, having resided on his ranch in the Sam's Valley district for many years prior to going to Glendale to work. Conger's funeral parlor is in charge of final rites, which were being arranged today. Burial will be in Central Point cemetery, in the family plot, and time [illegible] tomorrow. H. W. Conger plans to bring the remains back to Medford early tomorrow morning. A complete obituary will be published Friday. Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune, Friday, 5 Dec 1941, p. 4 EDDINGTON RITES 2 P.M. SATURDAY T. B. Eddington, who was accidentally killed in a logging camp near Glendale, Ore., Wednesday, an account of which appeared in yesterday's paper, was born in Webster county, Mo., June 8, 1882. He came to Jackson county at the age of 10 and has resided here since. He attended the schools at Central Point where they resided for 10 years before moving to Sam's Valley. He was married in 1905 to Ethel Rowe, who survives. One son is left, Virgil A. Eddington of Anchorage, Alaska. Also his father, W. W. Eddington of Sam's Valley, and two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Rette Newton, Turlock, Cal., Mrs. Mary Collet, Grant's Pass and N. Eddington of Sam's Valley. Funeral services will be held at the Conger chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday with Rev. D. E. Millard officiating. Interment will be in the Central Point cemetery.
