D. Withrow of Talent announce the engagement of their daughter, Claire, to Earl A. Sommer, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Sommer of Route 2, Ashland. Both are graduates of Talent high school. Miss Withrow has been employed at the Medford Accounting service for the past two and one-half years. Her fiance was recently discharged from the marine air corps, where he held the rank of sergeant, after nearly three years of service. No date has been sent for the wedding.
