A surprise shower was given Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H.
O. Youmans on Tho[-?-] drive for their daughter Katherine and her fianc‚,
Ruben Richey of Phoenix, whose marriage is to be October 12. Katherine
received many lovely gifts and Mr. Richie received a large number of
unlabeled canned goods. Many relatives of both families and their neighbors
enjoyed the evening.
