P. Law, storekeeper third class on the U. S. S. Reid, visited friends in Medford today. He was en route to Bremerton, Wash. On leave absence from the navy, Law returned recently from an extended trip to Hawaii. REFUELS HERE--Lieut. J. E. Gray stopped at Medford municipal airport this afternoon to have his army Douglas observation plain refueled. With Lieut. R. L. Jones as a passenger, he was en route from Red Bluff, Cal., to Pearson field, Vanco[u]ver, Wash. ON LEAVE--Harry Wenzel, who enlisted here in the U. S. navy last September, is enjoying a leave of absence after completing his preliminary training at the San Diego, Cal., naval station. He is visiting his mother, Mrs. Margaret Wright of Beagle. Wenzel has been chosen for study at the naval electrical school which he will enter upon returning to San Diego.
