Former Canby Teacher is married in California
Announcement of the marriage of Miss Helen Wastell,of Portland,and Willaim A 
Winters has been received here by friends of the bride.The marriage took place 
in San Jose,California,July 20,where Miss Wastells parents formerly lived.
The marriage is the culmination of a romance begun in Canby,where Miss Wastell 
was instructor of mathematics in the High School and where Mr Winters was 
engaged in engineering previous to the building of the new state highway 
bridge across to the Molalla river.
Mrs Winters was one of the popular teachers of Canby,and recently closed her 
term of school at this place.She is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Albert 
Wastell,now Portland residents.
