Canby Girl Is Bride Of Oregon City Man
Miss Irene Smith is United in Marriage to John W Montgomery,Monday,Sept.18
The many friends of Irene B Smith,of this city,were surprised to hear of her 
sudden marriage to John W Montgomery,of oregon City,which occurred on 
Manday,September 18.
The bride is the eldest daughter of Mrs bertha Smith Danielson,of Canby,and 
came here with her family,in November 1920,from North Dakota,and has for the 
past year and a half been employed in the law offices of C.D.,D.C. and Earl C. 
Latourette,of oregon City.
Mr Montgomery left on Tuesday morning for San Francisco,Cal.,where he has 
accepted a postion with a large manufacturing concern of that city.Mr 
Montgomery will leave in about two weeks to join her husband in that city 
where they intend to make their home
