Canby Couple United in Wedlock
Gladys Sather,popular Canby girl,surprised her many friends by quietly 
slipping away last saturday to Vancouver,Washington,where she was united in 
marriage to Fred Richter,also a resident of this coomunity,the ceremony taking 
place at 5 p.m.  with rev Backwilli,officiating.
The bride is a daughter of Mrs O.H Sather,of this city,and is well and 
favorably known in this city,having attended the Canby High School for some 
time.
the groom is the son of mr and Mrs martin Richter,who live near Union Hall.
After a short honeymoon trip to Washington points they returned to Canby and 
will make their home in this vicinity.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations and may their wedded life be full of 
sunshine and roses
