Canby Young Couple Married In Vancouver
A Marriage license was issued last Saturday,November 12,to Wayne E Hampton,of 
Canby and Miss Lena Pierce,of Portland,at Vancouver,Washington,where the 
wedding ceremony was performed in the precense of immediate friends.the bride 
was beautifully gowned in a pretty dark blue dress and tailored hat .the bride 
is a daughter of mr and Mrs L.D.Pierce of Lebanon,formerly of Canby, and she 
has been employed in various departments of the Meier and Frank department 
store in Portland.The groom is  a well known local boy and is the son of Mr 
and Mrs fred Hampton,of this place.
mr and Mrs Hampton are to make their home in Portland,where they both have 
employment.The News and friends extend their heartiest congratulations and 
hopes for success to them on their matrimonial voyage
