Prominent Canby Man Married at Oregon City
One of the most prominent weddings of the year occured at the home of Mr and 
Mrs Frank Weisenbeck,1521 Washington St,Oregon City,on Tuesday Evening ,June 
19th,when their daughter,Miss Grace Peterson was united in marriage to Mr 
Chester Douglas,son of Mr and Mrs Harvey Douglas,of Canby.Rev W Boyd 
Moore,pastor of the Canby M.E Church performing the ceeremony,the ring 
ceremony being used.
After the marriage ceremony a very tasty lunch was served to the large number 
of relatives and friends present.The home was beautifully decorated with 
flowers and evergreens for the ocassion.
After a short honeymoon Mr and Mrs Douglas will make their future home in 
Oregon City where the groom is employed.
Mr Douglas is very well known in this community haviing resided here 
practically all of his life time and is the son of Mr and Mrs Harvey 
Douglas,highly respected citizens of this community.
the bride is very well known in Oregon City,and is the daughter of Mr 
Wesienbeck,and she has a host of friends there who wish her well throughout 
her wedded life.
The herlad with its host of friends and readers wish the happy couple a long 
and happy married life.
