Popular Canby Girl Married To Portland Man
Miss Della Newstrom and John F Carrick,Take marriage Vows at Home of Brides 
Parents
Miss Della Newstrom,of this city,and Mr John F Carrick,of Portland,were united 
inmarriage at the home of the brides parents,Mr and Mrs F.L. Newstrom,of this 
city,at high noon today.Rev W.Boyd Moore,pastor of the local Methodist Church 
performing the ring ceremony.The wedding was a quiet affair,only immediate 
relatives of the family being present.
After a short honeymoon trip the happy young couple will make their home in 
Portland
The bride is a daughter of Mr and Mrs F.L Newstrom,of this city,a graduate of 
the Canby High School Class of 1915,and for the past five years connected with 
the Canby State Bank,of this city.She has many friends in this communityand is 
highly respected by all who knew her.
The groom is a lumberman of Portland,and unitl recently was in the lumber 
business near Eugene,and is a very promising young man.
Their many friends extend to them their heartiest congratulations,and wish 
them a very happy wedded life
