Surprise Party Given newly married Couple
A surprise party was given to Mr and Mrs Joseph Solli last saturday night at 
the home of the formers parents,Mr and Mrs paul Solli,by a number of 
friends.The party consisted of 62 people and during the evening program was 
given in which there were ten speeches and a number of songs and other 
amusements.After the program came the congratulations,introductions and 
acquantances.At twelve o'clock the refreshments were served which consisted of 
many good things.The couple received many presents from relatives and friends 
and a collection,which netted fifteen dollars was taken for which the couple 
bought some silverware.The party was enjoyed by all who attended.
Mr and Mrs Joseph Solli were married in Edinburgh,North Dakota,June 22,coming 
to Canby about a week ago.The bride is a daughter of Eric Lee of 
Edinburgh,North Dakota and the groom is the son of Mr and Mrs paul 
Solli,formerly of Omaha,Nebraska,but now of Canby.The bride was visiting out 
here a few years ago and became well acquainted .They expect to make their 
home here.
