Prominent Macksberg Couple Married
In the precense of relatives and friends the wedding  of Miss Walberga 
Kraxberger and Mr Walter Zacher was solemnized at the Macksberg 
church,Sunday,january7,1923
the bridal party entered the church which was decorated with evergreens and 
festoons of pink and white,to the strains of the wedding march from 
Lohengrin,played by Miss Ruth Kraxberger.They were met at the altar by 
Reverand Lucas of the Macksberg church and who preached the wedding sermon and 
the Reverand Kraxberger who performed the ceremony under an arch twined with 
pink and white and evergreens
Flowers were strewed in the path of the party by little Edith Kraxberger of 
Oregon City.She was very charming in a pink crepe de chine dress.The ring was 
carried in a lily by Master Arnold Welk.
The bride looke dlovely in a dress of white georgette ever satin.She carried a 
shower bouquet of brides roses and narcissus.She was attended by her 
sister,Miss Elsie Kraxberger as maid of honor and Miss Ella Zacher,sister of 
the groom,as bridesmaid.Miss Kraxberger and Miss Zacher were similiarly 
dressed in pink with silver lace.They carried pink carnations
Mr herman Etzel was best man.
After the ceremony a wedding supper was served to the relatives of the bride 
and groom at her home.Besides the immediate families those present were; Mr 
and Mrs carl Kalb,John Etzel,Misses Minnie,Sophioe and Erna Etzel,Rudy 
Etzel,Herman Etzel,Mr and Mrs William Etzel and son Clifford,Bruno 
Kraxberger,Mrs Franz Kraxberger,Miss Olga Schribner,Mr and Mrs Charles 
Kraxberger and family,the Misses Yydia and Hild Comer,the Rev and Mrs 
Kraxberger and family,Mr and Mrs H Welk and son Arnold,Mr and Mrs George 
McLaughlin,Mr and Mrs Rufus Kraxberger and son Ralph,Mr and Mrs R Klaus and 
family,Fritz Zacher and family,Mrs W Finck and family,Mr and Mrs Conrad 
Walch,Louie Barth and Miss Signe Paulson
