Kraxberger-Kalb Wedding a Royal One
One of the most beautiful weddings of the year was witnessed last Sunday,March 
12,1922,at the Macksberg Lutheran church at 1 P.M.,when Thusnelda,daughter of 
mr and Mrs Chas Kraxberger and Carl Kalb,both of Macksberg,were united in holy 
matrimony.
The church was filled with the many friends and relatives of both the bride 
and the groom
The bride was neatly gowned in white satin and silver droppings,carrying a 
shower bouquet of white sweet peas and fresias.She was attended by her 
sister,Hedwig,who wore a pink gown,plain,but effective,carrying a bouquet of 
flesh colored carnations.
The groom wearing the conventional dark,was attended by his brother,Adam 
Kalb,also arrayed accordingly.
Rev Wm Kraxberger,uncle of the bride,performed the ceremony.The ring ceremnoy 
being used.The minister delivered and effective sermon
After the ceremony all were invitied to a reception at the home of the bride.A 
bounteous dinner was served to a number of about one hundred.Many beautiful 
gifts were received for which the young couple were very grateful
The afternoon was spent in singing,and all kinds of social entertainment
The bride at one time attended the Canbyu high school.the young couple will do 
the managing of Mrs Kraxbergers farm while they are amking an extended visit 
to Europe.

Zenger,Mr and Mrs J Steward,Mr and mrs Walsh,all of Portland.Rev and mrs Wm 
Kraxberger of Oregon City,and daughter Edith,Mr and Mrs Henry Kraus and 
family,Mr and Mrs John Kraxberger and family,Mr and Mrs Otto Kraxberger and 
family,Mr and Mrs Adolph Kraxberger and family,Mr and Mrs Charles Kraxberger 
and family,Mr and Mrs E.B Nurs and family of McCoy,Mr and Mrs J.C.Walsh and 
family,Mr and mrs Geo Kalb Jr.,Mrs Bliven and children,Conrad Kock,Mr and Mrs 
henry Meyer and family,Elsie,Bergiemand Gertrude Kraxberger,Mr and mrs Rudolph 
Klaus,Marie Klaus,Bruno and Edward Kraxberger,Minnie,Herman,and Rudie Etzel,Mr 
and Mrs William Etzel,Mrs Long anf son O.B.,Mrs heinz and daughter,Minnie.
