Canby Herald March 31,1926
Canby Couple Married at Vancouver,Wash.
H.J.Garness and Mrs.M.M. Fitcher,both well knwon residents of Canby,were 
united in marriage at Vancouver,Wash.,friday,march 24.They will make their 
future home in  this city.They are busy just now receiving congratulations 
from their aany friends inthis community.
It was rather a clever stroke of business on the part of the bride.Quite 
recently she sold her home on First street to Mr.Garness.Now by the smple 
process of matrimonial law she becomes a half owner in the  she so recently 
disposed of.
Mr.Garness and his bride have both lived in this community for many years.They 
are estimable citizens and are given  a cordial reception by all Canby
