Clackamas County News March 24,1921
New Era Couple Happily married
New Era-March 24-A wedding of much interest to their many friends was that of 
Miss Elsa A Dietz,daughter of mr and Mrs Clement Dietz of new Era,and Carl F 
Schmeiser,son of Mr and Mrs Schmeiser,also of this locality.the ceremony was 
performed in the lutheran church in Oregon City,March 17,at high noon,by Rev 
William Kraxberger,the pastor,and was witnessed only by the relatives and a 
few intimate friends of the oyung couple.the ring cermeny was used.
The bride was attended by Miss M Dietz as maid of honor,and Miss M Scmeiser as 
bridesmaid,while W Dietz,brother of the bride was best man.Following the 
cermeony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the brides parents to 
about 75 guests.
Following a short wedding trip the newlyweds will make their home on the farm 
owned by the bridegroom on the Molalla Road.Both the young people are well 
known in the southern part of the county
