The bride was attended by the Misses Mildred Boon,of Portland,and Florence Gill,of Gresham,while the groom was attended by his brother Melvin Eid of this city,and the brides brother,Herbert Bladorn,of Portland.Little carol Crane ,of Portland,was the flower girl. The wedding march was played by Mrs l.V. Crain,of Portland.The ceremony was performed by Rev.J.Stanford Moore,of Salem,son of Rev Boyd Moore,of this city,the ring ceremony being used. Avon Jesse of Canby sang "Oh Promise me" and "Unitl" in his usual pleasing voice. After the ceremony the guests all partook of a bounteous repast which was served at the brides residence. Mr and Mrs Eid left Wednesday morning for Seaside,where they will remain for a few days and will return to Canby on Sunday to make their future home. Mr Eid is the eldest son of John Eid,of this city,and is associated with his father and Wilmer Handaness in the firm of Canby Hardware and Implement Co.,he is also at present city recorder of Canby and is one of the promising young men of this community.He also served his country in the recent world war,participating in some of the largest battles. The bride is a duaghter of mr and mrs Wm Bladon,of Prtland,and is a very charming young woman,being quiet well known around Canby where she has made many friends during the two years she has served as a teacher in the grammar grades of the Canby school The following friends and relatives were present:Mr and Mrs John Eid,of Canby:Mr and mrs Wm Bladorn of Portland:Rev and mrs Stafford Moore,of Salem: Mr and mrs L.V.
