Henry Wonder,age 55,of Aurora,was instantly electrocuted and Geo Wurster,also of Aurora,was knocked unconsciuos but was only slightly burned on his right hand,at 7:30 a.m.,Wednesday (Memorial Day) The fatal accident happened while Mr Wonder and mr Wurster were attempting to hoist the flag on the city flag pole in honor of Decoration Day,the steel cable becoming kinky and while trying to straighten out the kinks the cable was accidentally knocked against the power line of the Molalla Electric Co.,which was within three feet of the flag pole,killing Mr Wonder instantly and only slightly injuring Mr Wurster.Mr Wurster had ona pair of cotton gloves at the time of the accident and this mat have been instrumental in saving his life. Mr Wonder has been a resident of Aurora for a number of years ,and he was a bachelor.Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
