Oscar Paine,old time friend of CharlesWill and who was called here by his 
accidental death and funeral following it,renewed old friendships in his short 
stay here.He was formerly pastor of the Methodist church but is now located at 
Fossil,Oregon.His eulogy at the bier of his frind was was a glowing tribute to 
the splenid manhood of the latter and gave evidence of a great brotherly love 
that existed between them.Never was a funeral oration given more simply or 
sincerely in Hubbard than the one he gave Tuesday afternoon and the large 
assembly of friends gathered to pay their last respects to the dead,honored 
hte man who spoke.Mr.Paine returned to his home Tuesday evening.
