The mans head struck the saw,badly cutting and mutilating the skull. The slab fell from a platform about four feet above a spot where Wheeler was working.He had been removing wood as it was being cut by the saw whent he fatal accident occurred,according to information received in Oregon City late Tuesday night.Dr.Gilbert of Estacada was called to the mill but he learned that death was instant.Coroner Pace was also notified.
