Clackamas County News May 19,1921
W.A Summers passes away in Portland
Wislonville,May 17-W.A.Summers,a resident of Wilsonville for about a 
year,stopping at the cottage hotel since last fall and concerning whom there 
is little known,died at St Vincents Hospital in Portland last Saturday,and was 
buried in Portland this week by McIntee&Eilers,Mr Summers worked most of last 
summer for Sherman Seely,and in the fall came into Wilsonville and secured 
accommodations at the Cottage Hotel.He was of a reticient nature and 
practically nothing was learned of his past history or family.Mr Summers had 
been suffering some time from stomach trouble,and doctored for a time with a 
Chinese doctor in Portland,finally undergoing an operation in the hospital 
from which he failed to recover.
