Ignaz Simon Dies Here
Ignaz Simon 73 years old and a resident of this commnunity for the past 23 
years died Thursday evening at 10:30 at the home of his stepson F.Mandel near 
Middleton.hes death was caused by Brights disease.The funeral will occur 
Sunday from the home at 1 p.m.,Rev Cowman officiating.Mr Simon was born in 
Austria in 1842,came to the Unted States in 1870 and settled in Wisconsin from 
where he later moved to Oregon in 1890,to then make his home
He is survived by his wife,a son Joseph Simon, a stepson F.Mandel,both of this 
place and a sister Mrs V Jurgens of Tualatin
