Gordon Scramlin is dead,Funeral Friday
Gordon Scramlin,a resident of Macksberg for more than forty years,died at the 
hospital in Oregon City at 1 o'clock yesterday morning following an illness of 
three months
mr Scramlin was born in Iowa december 21,1869 and was well known throuhgout 
this part of oregon.he had made his home in this vicinity for many years with 
his mother,Mrs Lucinda Scramlin
Besides his mother he is survived by an uncle,Mr portere,of Willamette and 
Russell Scramlin,a nephew.Mrs Scramlin has made her home with her brother 
since the illness of her son.
Funeral services will be held at one o'clock friday afternoon at the Methodist 
church in this city,Rev W.B Moore having been engaged to conduct the 
services.Internment will be made in the "Old Canby Cemetary"
