Funeral Services Are Held For Mrs Scotten
Funeral services for the late Mrs Elenor Scotten who passed away at her home 
in Riverside,Tuesday afternoon,Dec 19,after a short illness with 
pneumonia,were held from the residence last Friday afternoon at one 
o'clock,Rev Boyd Moore officiating.the body was taken to Portland,with 
internment in Riverview cemetary.Holman and Pace of Oregon City had charge of 
the funeral arrangements.
Elenor Scotten was born in London,England,April 2,1843,and at the time of 
death was 79 years,eight months,and 17 days old.She was married in 1864 to 
Francis Scotten in London,England,and came to the United States with her 
husband in 1868,settling inSt Paul ,Minn.,where they resided until 1903 when 
they came to Portland,oregon,where they lived until 1906 and since that time 
have made their home at Riverside,near this city.Besides her husband she is 
survived by two children who are Frank Scotten,of Great Falls,Montana,and Mrs 
Minnie Misz,of Portland,Oregon.She is also survived by thre grandchildren
