Pioneer Woman Passe
After living the last 38 years ona  farm at Stafford,Mrs.Elizabeth 
Schatz,70,widow of the late William Schatz,died at her home about 5 o'clock 
Wednesday morning.
Born inRussia August 22,1859,Mrs.Schatz came ot the UNited States 57 years ago.
She leaves five sons and four daughters;Frederick Jacob Schatz,Portland;Henry 
and Robert'Stafford;Willkiam G.,Oswego; and S.Walter,Stafford;Mrs.Christian 
Loy,New Plymouth,Idaho;Mrs.Rose van Houten,Seattle;Mrs.Susan 
Eisele,Stafford;and Mr Anna Tienken,Portland.
Funeral services were conducted from the Stafford Baptist churh Fridat 
afternoon at 1 o'clcok.Burial at the Stafford cemetary
